The Fiesta RS Turbo Mk3 uses Ford EEC-IV, housed in a 60-Pin module with the EDIS module located on the bulkhead at the rear of the engine bay.

This guide is a 'wire-for-wire' guide, that is, how to connect up to the standard ECU loom directly. Taking complete control of the engine, and giving the versatility to allow remapping if you have for example upgraded to throttle bodies etc.

Firstly, locate and gain access to the ECU. It is located in the passenger foot well, up behind the glove box. You will need to undo the rubber boot from under the bonnet at the rear of the bay which 'holds' the ECU in place from above.

After you have dropped the ECU down, unscrew the connector retainer, and you will have the ECU disconnected, leaving the loom accesable.

Now, follw the table below to connect the M-Tech ECU to the Ford Loom. This applies to both the V3 and V4 ECU, as the wiring is 'labelled'. Pin numbers are avaible on request.

For the remainder of the guide, follow the EEC-IV Installation Guide.
