The tachometer output as used by the V4 EMS allows you to drive a standard dash tachometer with ease. Its output is a 5V digital tachometer signal as used by almost all aftermarket dash tachomometers, as well as most OEM tachometers (Ford, Citroen, Rover, GM etc).

Simply connect up the tachometer output wire to your dash tachometer or datalogger, for an accurate tachometer reading. The ECU will also supply a constant tachometer output even in the event of rev-limiting or whilst using spark-cut based Launch Control
