Returns & Refund Policy

At M-Tech MOT Centre Limited, your satisfaction is important to us. This Returns Policy explains your rights when returning products or cancelling services, in accordance with UK consumer protection law.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You have the right to return goods purchased online or over the phone within 14 days of receiving them, without needing to provide a reason. This applies under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and is often referred to as the “cooling-off period”.

2. How to Return an Item

To start a return, please notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving your goods. You can email us at sales@mtechautomotive.co.uk or write to our business address above.

Once confirmed, you have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. Items must be:

• Unused and in original packaging (where applicable)

• In resellable condition

Please include your proof of purchase or order reference number.

3. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 14 days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

If the item is damaged or used, we may deduct a reasonable amount from your refund to reflect the loss in value.

Please note:

• Refunds do not include any delivery charges paid unless the item was faulty or incorrectly supplied.

4. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are not eligible for return:

• Custom or made-to-order items

• Services (e.g. MOT or repair work) once fully completed and with your prior agreement to begin within the 14-day cancellation period

• Items returned after 28 days

5. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a full refund, repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied, you are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked service.
